I really do love NYC and I really do hate the suburbs! After spending 4 days at home, going out one night I have come up with a few reasons why I dislike the suburbs and love NYC.

1. You have to drive home after going to a bar.

2. The girls out shopping are most likely under 18

3. The bars are always dead before a certain time. I was unaware of this so I spent a Friday night making friends with a bartender and because I had to drive home I had to control my drinking. That meant I had enough before any cute girls were out. As I’m walking to my car and driving through the village, I see all these cute girls, just my luck.

4. The nightlife dies very quickly and is very concentrated in a few crowded places.

5. It’s impossible to find a good Irish Pub.

6. All the cute girls go to NYC leaving the suburbs full of guys.

Thanksgiving Break

I will be away from the great city of NYC until Sunday while I spend my time with family for this holiday. I did attend the Thanksgiving Parade for the first time and that was a blast. I will upload several pictures from it sometime this weekend.

No match.com updates as I’ve sent out over 30 e-mails without a single response. I will attempt to go out near my parents’ house and I will update you if I have any luck out here in the suburbs.

While my success in real life has been awful, I have started talking to a lot more people recently then I ever have before. There is progress and hope for my love life. Even though these conversations don’t get me any dates it allows me to get comfortable with conversation with new people. I decided that I needed to join Match.com (again) and see if I can’t line up dates. I’m fantastic with conversation and knowledgable about a lot of things. Once I am on dates I am comfortable with the idea that I can impress any woman who I converse with. I spent a little cash and joined Match.com. I will keep you posted on all the dates I will be on.

Pre-Thanksgiving Weekend

Another weekend in the books and a lot less money in my bank account. I took home zero numbers but still had an excellent weekend. I probably could of made out with a drunk girl on Saturday night but I decided not to because I saw her going at it with some guy in the back of the bar and he look like a total douche bag. Me 0, Douche Bags 1.

Well this is NYC so I’m sure douche bags have scored more then that. I guess that’s just how this crazy world works. Does anyone else want to take a stab at it and explain it to me?

The Bi-sexual girls were at the bar once again and were going at it. I did finally get the opportunity to talk with one of them as they all recognize me for being a regular like themselves. Unfortunately the conversation was with the ugly one who doesn’t really seem to get into the whole girl on girl fun.

1 Lesson I learned but still have not turned into practice is that I’m able to talk with girls at the bar but I usually end up drinking so much that I don’t really do the proper things to get her number. I end up just talking and talking and then end up going home just having good conversation, which for the record I am OK with and is just another step in my progression.

NYC Thanksgiving Dinner to Go

Many New Yorkers are from other parts of the world. We don’t all have the opportunity to see our family and love ones during Thanksgiving. Why should that get in the way of a tasty Thanksgiving dinner with all its delicious turkey and variety of side dishes. Just maybe you can invite another lonely New Yorker and have your own celebration.

An Ex

It’s been a while since I’ve gotten laid. It’s actually been just as long since I last kissed a girl. Is it wrong of me to keep trying to hang out with my ex who I dumped 5 months ago because she had no personality? We only dated for 2 months and she was heartbroken since then. She’s wanted to hang out with me so it’s not just one sided. Can’t we just be fuck buddies now because despite the lack of personality she was definitely hot and great in bed?

I’m only hoping to get dinner with her and a couple drinks see what happens. While I feel bad that this is my main goal when I hang out with her, maybe she’ll just be good company. I wouldn’t do anything against her will but I’m I think her will for me has always been high and I’m pretty sure she hasn’t gotten laid since me as well. I’m not a pig just someone that enjoyed good sex yet non-adventurous sex.

Update: I felt I should clarify based off a comment someone posted.

I’m not looking to get her drunk and do anything we both would regret. A few drinks and seeing me may just let her take the easy bait. It was a tough thing for me when we ended it after only 2 months so I don’t want to fall for her again and vice-versa. Just two adults doing something they once enjoyed because they want to.
