Traffic
I hate NYC traffic and its unbearable when it rains and snows. My morning commute which is normally a 18-20 minute walk if the weather is shitty seems to take longer when I decide to take the bus just a few blocks to avoid getting wet. Why can’t these fucking traffic cops send someone to the intersection of 57th Street and 3rd Ave? They have them located in some worthless locations sometimes two cops standing on a corner pretending to do their jobs. I request just one at this intersection so that the bus isn’t waiting at one light without moving for 20 minutes.
Gridlocking has become a mess in this city since Bloomberg took over and I like the job he’s done as Mayor. Why can’t they just start ticketing people who gridlock and honk their horns? Is it really that difficult or are they just lazy?
I am not looking forward to when it starts to snow and I got walk slowly across snow and ice so that I don’t fall because it’s a lot quicker than using the bus. I am also all in favor of taxing people who want to come into Manhattan during business hours. It means more money for the city, less traffic and best of all it doesn’t apply to me. That may sound selfish but those assholes who sneak across red lights just to gridlock the intersection are the selfish ones. And they are the ones who will have to pay for those taxes so I’m all for fucking them.
